  • Eglise Saint-Etienne d'Appeville, the church, a classified ancient monument, was formerly dependent on the Abbey of Lessay. It is noted for the quality of its style, the uniformity of its construction, built at one time at the beginning ot the 13th century, and also for its excellent state of preservation : almost unaltered, a nearly perfect expression of Cotentin rural gothic art. At its centre, a square tower forming the lantern tower and bell tower, topped by a slender spire. Single nave, choir with shallow chevet, prominent transept, sexpartite vaults, 15th-century porch.
